Sofia Goodman is a drummer, composer, and bandleader residing in Nashville, Tennessee. Her unique sound has been internationally recognized in press sources such as Jazzwise, DownBeat, Jazziz, and more. Since 2017, her group has toured the U.S. and Canada, with performances at iconic venues like The Kennedy Center, and she has been a repeat artist at several jazz festivals. As an experienced bandleader and arranger, she has developed repertoire for her trio, quartet, septet, octet, and more. DownBeat magazine recently nominated her as Rising Star Drummer of the Year in August 2026. Goodman started playing drums in middle school.
