ChattEvents is an independent guide to what is happening in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect. We keep anonymous counts of how the site is used, for example when an event page is viewed or an advertisement is clicked. Those counts live on our own servers and are not linked to your name, email address or IP address. If you create an account, we store the email address you signed up with, plus anything you choose to save, such as favourite events and reminders.

Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand which events and pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser when you visit the site, and the reports it produces are aggregated and are never linked to your name or email address.

What we do not do. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising cookies or third party advertising trackers. The advertising you see on ChattEvents is served directly by us, not through an ad network.

Your choices and rights. You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also delete your account from your account page, which removes the data attached to it. To make a request, use the contact page.

How long we keep it. Account information is kept while your account is open. Anonymous usage counts are kept in aggregate and cannot be traced back to you.

Changes to this page. If this policy changes, we will update the date below and, where the change matters, tell registered users by email.
